BUZZflies:

Several iPhones give audio signals in different intervals. After a while all devices are synchronized and start to play a song. It isn't a virus. You became witness of the new application for the iPhone - BUZZflies.
A special algorithm taken from fireflies in Asia is part of the research at the Institute of Networked and Embedded Systems. Cam Lai Ngo programmed the new application as part of her Research project.
The algorithm and the iPhone application is part of the research project "Self-slot-synchronization" (Triple-S). Since one year Lakeside Labs implement the project in collaboration with the University Klagenfurt.
The algorithm as well as the iPhone application are part of the research project Triple-S.
