Openings

Lakeside Labs currently offers positions on the following topics:

Scientific positions are maintained at four staff levels:

  • Junior researchers hold a master degree in engineering or sciences and have 0–4 years of experience; at Lakeside Labs, they perform technical-scientific tasks, act as authors in scientific publications, and sometimes work toward a doctoral degree.
  • Researchers typically hold a doctoral degree and have 3–6 years of research experience in academia or industry; they work on scientific tasks in projects, take some management tasks, and act as first or senior authors in scientific publications; they are different than typical “post docs” and may receive an open-ended contract if successful.
  • Senior researchers have a doctorate and more than six years of experience in research and research management; they define and lead small projects, work on scientific tasks, and advise junior researchers; they are comparable to assistant or associate professors without teaching duties.
  • Research managers have a broad spectrum of experience; they are responsible for the acquisition and management for a set of small to large research projects; they maintain strategic partnerships with industrial and research partners.
